In 2018, 27.3% of South African millennials in university studied business, economics, and management, while education also attracted over 20%. The number of private EV charging stations and chargers in the US grew by over 50% between 2020 and 2022\. While there was a slight decline in stations in 2020, growth resumed strongly afterward. By 2022, [stations increased](https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity-stations?ref=newsletters.qs.com#terms) from 2.7K to 4.07K, and EVSE ports increased from 10.6K to 18.87K, driven by growing EV demand, government incentives, and increased investment in charging infrastructure to support the rising number of EVs.
