✈️ Indian Student Flows to the UK Nearly Doubled in the Past Decade

Indian student enrolments in the UK rose tenfold from 16,880 in 2016 to 166,310 in 2023, despite a dip from the 2022 peak. This growth mirrors India’s expanding middle-class aspirations for global qualifications. Despite being a leading postgraduate student source, the ongoing restrictions on dependants will pose challenges for Indian PG students in the future. Chevening Scholarships and Commonwealth Scholarships continue to enable more Indian students to enter the UK for their higher education

⚕️ Nearly 40% of Australians Used Medicare Allied Health Services

In 2022, nearly 40% of Australians accessed at least one Medicare-subsidised allied-health service such as physiotherapy, psychology or dietetics highlighting a rising reliance on multi-professional support. To streamline care, the government replaced GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements with a single, simplified GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), enabling eligible patients to receive up to five subsidised allied-health visits annually under a clearer, modernised framework.

🏭 North America Made Up 40% of the 3D Printing Market

In 2024, North America held 36% of the global 3D printing robot market, leading adoption in advanced manufacturing and prototyping. The technology is increasingly used across aerospace, healthcare and automotive sectors for precision, customization and cost efficiency. Growth in this market is being fueled by rapid innovation in robotics, additive manufacturing and sustainable manufacturing. Supportive policies such as the US CHIPS and Science Act, are further accelerating industrial automation and domestic production capacity.
