Hello 👋
Post-secondary education is entering a phase defined by capability and collaboration. Universities, employers, and technology firms are aligning across borders to build shared systems for talent, research, and workforce readiness. From Monash University’s $558M flagship in Kuala Lumpur and Oxford’s partnerships in Vietnam to OpenAI’s growing role in post-secondary learning and Microsoft’s global education initiatives, expansion is now about building capability, integrating technology, data, and delivery models that strengthen how institutions teach, credential, and connect learners to work.
These efforts are creating the underlying infrastructure for continuous learning, credential recognition, and skill mobility across markets. Together, they show how collaboration and cross-border partnerships are becoming the connective tissue between education and employment, marking a global convergence where capability-based partnerships are emerging as essential infrastructure for post-secondary education and lifelong learning.
The Five Strategic Shifts in Higher Education illustrate how this convergence is taking shape. Converting credentials and capability to digital delivery and lifelong learning, they signal a system moving from education access to career and civic readiness.
