The newly launched [**2026 South Asia EdTech 100**](https://www.holoniq.com/notes/2026-south-asia-edtech-100?ref=newsletters.qs.com) shows where startups are positioning for that demand. Capital is already responding. In recent weeks, [byteXL raised $9M](https://inc42.com/buzz/bytexl-raises-9-mn-to-take-tech-ai-skilling-to-more-engineering-colleges/?ref=newsletters.qs.com) to take AI and technology skilling into more engineering colleges, and [Nelnet’s acquisition of Entab](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/nelnet-business-services-acquires-international-school-management-technology-provider-entab-302898862.html?ref=newsletters.qs.com) gave a US strategic buyer a school management platform in India.
