Renewable energy in Denmark reached nearly 100% of net electricity generation in 2025, nearly full system coverage. This reflects[ long term investment in wind energy and grid integration](https://www.irena.org/-/media/Files/IRENA/Agency/Publication/2019/Oct/IRENA%5FFuture%5Fof%5Fwind%5F2019.pdf?ref=newsletters.qs.com).
