✈️ Indian Student Enrolment in the US Exceeded 330K

Indian student enrolment reached a record 331K in 2023, with nearly a 25% jump that restored India as the top source country for US higher education. This substantial growth, largely in graduate and Optional Practical Training programs, suggests a strong student focus on US workforce integration. However, recent trends show a sharp 44% decline in new student arrivals on visas from India in August 2025, reflecting heightened uncertainty. This is linked to administrative issues and policy changes.

🍃 Wind Energy Workforce in France Rose by 40%

France’s wind energy workforce nearly tripled from 10,840 in 2013 to 31,436 in 2023, driven by growth in Studies and Development, and Engineering and Construction. The government targets over 33 GW onshore capacity by 2028 and 45 GW offshore by 2050, supported by streamlined permitting, local job creation, and major investments, positioning wind as a core pillar of France’s energy transition and economic growth.

🤖 Nearly 90% of Technology Companies Utilized AI

Technology leads in generative AI adoption, with 88% of technology companies adopting generative AI and 56% of sector projects utilizing the tools. The trend is fueled by benefits like creative task automation and cost reduction. The quick adoption of AI is changing job tasks and making it harder for students to get entry-level tech roles. The European Parliament is regulating this with the EU AI Act, which classifies generative AI as not high-risk but requiring compliance with transparency requirements.
