🎓 >35% of Spanish Teachers Considered Quitting Jobs
According to the survey conducted by the EsadeEcPol Centre, over 35% of teachers in Spain reconsidered leaving the profession for a similar job in 2023, reflecting growing negative sentiment. With over 20% working under annual or fixed-term contracts, job insecurity is widespread, especially among younger teachers, causing stress and undermining long-term commitment. These conditions reduce teachers' connection to the school community and worsen educational quality. Combined with ongoing teacher shortages, the prevalence of temporary contracts makes teaching less attractive than other career paths.
🍃 The US Ranks 2nd in Sustainability Disclosures by Industry

Just 15.04% of industries in Europe disclosed sustainability information in 2024, the highest among all regions. The data points to a slow but regionally uneven uptake of corporate transparency. With growing investor and regulatory pressure, especially in Europe, companies are gradually aligning with ESG expectations. The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, in effect since January 2024, is a key driver behind Europe’s lead.
🏭 Smart Watches with Advanced Chips Tops Wearable Market
Global smartwatch revenue rose from nearly $45B in 2023 to around $48B in 2024, outpacing growth in smart bands and scales. The trend reflects rising demand for advanced health tracking, prompting a shift toward high-performance chips in wearables. Advanced chips such as Samsung Exynos, Qualcomm Snapdragon, and Apple SiP are a few of many chips being integrated. With smarter sensors comes growing concerns about accuracy and health data interpretation, as health tracking has been a leading driver for many people to engage in fitness activities.
