Hello 👋

"AI apprenticeships" are quickly becoming one of the most tangible ways governments and employers are translating “future skills” into real workforce pathways. Recently California committed $22M to expand apprenticeship pipelines for in-demand fields, the US Department of Labor launched a national apprenticeship for AI literacy program, and UK employers including the AA partnered with Multiverse while Gi Group UK rolled out new upskilling pathways. These moves point to a growing playbook: build AI talent where the work happens. In a field moving this quickly, proximity to real workflows makes a lot of sense. Watch for a continued wave of new public–private partnerships that position workplaces as the front line for AI capability building.

Interest in Degree Apprenticeships continue to rise.
There is significant interest in the concept of degree-level apprenticeships, and hybrid models spanning traditional postsecondary boundaries are increasingly accepted.
