💼 Latino and Hispanic employment-population ratio exceeded 60

US Hispanic and Latino employment-population ratios averaged above 60% from 2019 to 2023, with Cubans leading at 64.5% and Dominicans at 61.4%. Mexicans comprise 60% of the 68 million US Hispanic population. These populations are largely concentrated in California, Texas,  and Miami. These communities are significant contributors to the US economy as they are employed in fields such as construction, agriculture and healthcare, while they also comprise a large number of small business owners. Their cultural impact in the entertainment industry and hospitality and leisure sector also contributes to the diversity of the US population.

⚕️ Alcoholic drinks sold off shelves declined

US beer volumes declined by nearly 3% in 2024, with wine dropping 4.4%, driven by Gen Z drinking 20% less than millennials and prioritising mental and physical health. Non-alcoholic beer has risen in popularity, with breweries such as Athletic Brewing growing in valuations as demand increased, with more traditional firms releasing non alcoholic variants. This generational shift has been embraced well by health professionals, citing that a healthier "sober-curious" lifestyle is gaining popularity.

🤖 AI use in sports led by North America

North America leads AI sports adoption, with a 35% market share, as organisations such as the NFL utilise AI for performance analytics, injury prevention, and personalised insights for elite players. Off the field, fan engagement and personalised content are being facilitated using AI. Global sports are also embracing AI, with applications ranging from Formula 1 to the Indian Premier League cricket, through dual partnership roles. AI platforms provide detailed insights, in exchange for increased public recognition through the brand visibility of sports franchises and teams across diverse social demographics interacting with the sport.
